Welcome to the Audio/Video section of the site! The media files below are being made available for the encouragement and enlightenment of all. As time goes on (and if it is Jehovah’s will) we will be expanding this section to include interviews, podcasts, Bible-based talks and more. Hopefully the categories will continue to expand, as our library grows. We have been working on this for some time and finally have enough to get this new feature of the site started. Enjoy!

JJ thanks for posting this section. I’ve just finished my Bible study with my wife, using your personal experience and the excellent talk by Christian Minister C. Swindall – “We Must Stand Alone”.

We discussed the points you raised and those of Mr Swindall and feel VERY encouraged (at least for now :-))that although we walk a lonely path, if we want to serve God, then we go where he directs even if it is to the “wilderness”.

Again, thank you very much and keep up the good work.

JJ, I have just finished listening to your talk, ‘Whats your favourite Scripture’ and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Tonight was my meeting night, but of course I did not go. What for? As you correctly pointed out in the talk, it is the same foundation being laid, time and time again. Bringing out this scripture was a stroke of genius as far as I’m concerned. I have been trying for a long time to explain to those who ask, why I don’t attend the meetings any more. Simply because I find them repetitive and that the so called food no longer builds me up. I have even used the analogy of the meetings being like pre-school. The basics have been learnt, but they still keep on teaching the basics. Any case, the point I’m trying to make is that Heb 6:1 summed up what I’ve been trying to say for such a long time, ie if one has been associated for twenty years plus, it is about time that we had something a little bit more. Thank you for reminding me of it.

Finally, I thought the prayer at the end was a nice touch. For those that don’t go to the kingdom hall very often, it was nice to hear a brother saying a prayer.

Keep up the good work. Your efforts are not in vain.

JJ this is the first time I have been here. I was searching for the book “sign of the last days by Carl Johnsson” I couldn’t find the material on your site so before I left the site I listened to the introductory audio. Holy you know what! I can’t believe how many people are awaking. I just found out ttatt about 6 months ago. I went through the same emotions you went through. For a while I thought I was all alone.
It seems like we are going through a period of many awaking. What do you think? Is there an awareness of the Watchtower being false or is it wishful thinking on my part.

I am so pleased you are here Buttercup! The Watchtower Organization is is ushering in more and more through the front door, only to have them leaving out the back in a gushing torrent. About 100,000 every year stop going to the Kingdom Hall and serving as door knockers and tract distributors for them.

Email me at JWStruggle at gmail dot com about the book and I will help you get it.

      With Kind Regards,

    JJ,

So good to see this website. I am a former J.W. I grew up in this and it has had a strong root in my family background for many years. 22 years I have been a Christian. Now, praise God, Jesus is using me to encourage former J.W. who have many guilty feelings leaving the organization. I have not sought people out, the Holy Spirit is leading them to me. One is a young lady in college at the local University. A Kingdom Hall is only blocks away from the University. I am attempting to speak at the local Baptist Student Union, that welcomes all religions, to teach about Christ’s love and salvation through Him.

My Pastor and I are putting together a study to encourage believers in our church to be a witness of their faith in Jesus Christ TO the J.W. who they come in contact with. (Instead of hiding in their homes until they leave).

My father is still very solidly grounded in the J.W. organization. I pray that he would come to Christ before Christ comes for His children. I have met with him and in complete love, a love that only Jesus can give, attempted to bring him to Christ. Instead it turned into a banter of his knowledge of the old testament.

I have the J.W. bible and in the process of studying the changes verse by verse….using NKJV and several other translations to determine these changes that negate Jesus as God and the same for the Holy Spirit. I would appreciate an opportunity to speak with you. You would bring much insight to me.

I don’t want to slander nor criticize people, only reveal the truth, the real truth so that J.W. can find grace and salvation through Jesus before its too late.

    Thank You,
    Michelle Hawkins

  7. NANCY says:

I just viewed your video is Jesus our Mediator. How can you falsely claim that we teach otherwise. I as a recently baptized witness was taught and was cited exactly the same scriptures you cited. Jesus is our mediator between himself and Jehovah. This is such a false attack I am upset with this accusation, what I thought was a web site that would answer some valid questions I now see as an enemy to anyone like myself.

      Hello Nancy,

I share the same concerns as you that many of the attacks against JW doctrine on the site are exaggerated, sometimes to the point of absurdity. You’re capable of using the reasoning of a sound mind, however, and won’t be swayed by anything you know to be nonsense. (That’s the reason you showed up here in the first place, isn’t it?– too much nonsense from the WatchTower?) You’ve disagreed with interpretations of the doctrinal teachings of other JWs without being seriously offended, so give each one here a chance and avoid those whom offend you. I’m still a member in good standing at the Kingdom Hall, but I desperately needed a place to share my frustrations about the Organization’s short-sighted, and occasionally damaging, policies. You are under no obligation to believe what isn’t true according to your research and understanding, so look around for a while and see if you can find some friends. If there’s anything I can help you with, or you would like to discuss, let me know.

      Your brother in Christ, MD

Hi JJ. I really like your blogs/site. I’m an ex jw. I had family that lived in Porterville, CA and had a brother who served as an elder there for years. Just wondering if you know him. He has since moved to Colorado. His name is Jerry Andrews. Other elders there were Carl Speigleberg and Chuck Morrison. Just wondering. Thanks Dana
