Why do you apply the Bible to everyone else and not yourselves?

Why do you constantly go beyond what is written when the Bible says not to?

Why do you disfellowship people for not agreeing with your every word when you have been proven wrong and without Gods spirit direction for over 100 years?

Why have you not applied Deuteronomy 18: 20-22 to Russell, Rutherford, Franz, Henschel, Knorr and yourselves?

Deuteronomy 18:20-22

“However, the prophet who presumes to speak in my name a word that I have not commanded him to speak or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die. And in case you should say in your heart: “How shall we know the word that Jehovah has not spoken?” when the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word does not occur or come true, that is the word that Jehovah did not speak. With presumptuousness the prophet spoke it.”

When being accused of being false prophets why do you LIE and say, “We never spoke in the name of Jehovah”? http://www.jwfacts.com/images/awake-1993-mar-22-page-4.jpg

• “For an answer, people should listen to the plain preaching by the remnant prefigured by Jeremiah, for these preach to men the present-day fulfillment of Jeremiah’s prophecies. Who made them a prophet to speak with the authority that they claim? Well, who made Jeremiah a prophet?” Watchtower 1959 Jan. 15 pp.39-41

• “Those who do not read can hear, for God has on earth today a prophetlike organization, just as he did in the days of the early Christian congregation.” Watchtower 1964 Oct. 1 p.601

• “All True Christians ARE Prophets. The New American Bible correctly states: “Prophet means ‘one who speaks for another,’ especially for God. It does not necessarily mean that he predicts the future!” You will be interested to learn that God has on earth a people, all of whom are prophets, or witnesses for God. In fact, they are known throughout the world as Jehovah’s Witnesses.” Awake! 1986 June 8 p. 9

• “Today, Jehovah provides instruction by means of “the faithful steward.” Pay Attention to Yourself and to All The Flock p.13

• “commissioned to serve as the mouthpiece and active agent of Jehovah… commission to speak as a prophet in the name of Jehovah…” The Nations Shall Know that I am Jehovah” – How? pp.58,62

• “…commission to speak as a “prophet” in His name….” Watchtower 1972 Mar. 15 p.189

Why do you white wash all of this and act as if it hasn’t happened? There are hundreds of volumes of Watchtower and Awakes that have documented all these facts and contain countless proof of YOU going beyond what is written. There is countless proof that you are not chosen by God or his Son. Why do you continue to try and keep control of all of these people?

It is clear that you are not in fear of Jehovah God himself or his Son. Instead of disfellowshipping ones who are proven as false prophets you disfellowship anyone that disagrees with you and label them as apostates. You have replaced Christ Jesus as their mediator with yourselves. When you claim to speak for God and your predictions fail miserably does that not fall into blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? Is this not an unforgivable sin? When you say you represent God and then go beyond what is written are you not playing God yourselves?

I don’t expect to hear back from any of you on the Governing Body but I know you are aware of this web site and have it monitored all the time. You have made millions of people sick and are blood guilty for all of them. Jehovah will apply Deuteronomy 18:20-22 to you soon enough. You have managed to set yourself up as untouchable from the flocks you reign over but Jesus will handle you when he returns. You are wrong about 1914 and I believe you know it. When Jesus returns your eyes will be closed fast asleep but you will be AWAKE soon!

Matthew: 23:13-15, “Woe to YOU, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because YOU shut up the kingdom of the heavens before men; for YOU yourselves do not go in, neither do YOU permit those on their way in to go in. “Woe to YOU, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because YOU traverse sea and dry land to make one proselyte, and when he becomes one YOU make him a subject for Ge·hen´na twice as much so as yourselves.

Some good points Greybeard. A little strong for me (don’t blow a blood vessel lol) but you make a lot of sense.

You said “there are hundreds of volumes of Watchtower and Awakes that have documented all these facts and contain countless proof of YOU going beyond what is written” and this is so very true.

I got my training from reading “strong” Watchtowers for 40 years. Sorry, I don’t know how to sugar coat this. I am not trying to judge my brother only pointing out scripture that in my opinion applies strongly to them. Ezekiel 3:19

  2. Amos says:

    Excellent article Greybeard.

I don’t think it’s too strong. What you have done, is use the same type of language that the GB use against others, while quoting their own articles….this means that “they self condemn themselves”.

I think that the tyime is coming when we must stop pussy footing around, & tell it as it is….THEY ARE THE EVIL SLAVE!!!
    I say this for the very reason that they persecute their fellow slaves, as foretold by the Lord Himself…Matt.48-51;

48 “But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow servants and eats and drinks with drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know 51 and will cut him in pieces and put him with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” ESV

Please compare the following two passages from Revelation.

Rev.21:5-8; 5 And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” 6 And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. 7 The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Rev.22:12-15; 12 “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

14 Blessed are those who wash their robes,e so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. 15 Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.”

Some deep food for thought brothers, from which you can draw your own conclusions.

Your fellow servant of the Lord,

    Amos

I wrote them some of theses same thoughts with tears. They sent an Apostasy committee after me. They won’t listen and they already know. They don’t care. They are sitting on Billions and is about to build a recreation olympic type facility in Warwick. They think Jehovah and our Lord is delaying they are about to have a good time. Perimeno calls them the man of lawlessness also. I agree with your thoughts Greybeard. Thanks for printing it.

    Hello:

What the Watchtower writes about the so-called apostates is scurrilous. They are getting desperate. They are wicked men!

  7. DanielB says:

Hi Bearded brother. I haven’t been close to any of the GB. -Not sure what you mean by “the Watchtower/Governing Body…”.

I have been to headquarters a couple times to visit and tour. I was given the art department tour, since that relates to my education, profession, and “passion” .

I wasn’t impressed with the poor reception at 117 Adams, or the young ‘hot shot’ Bethelites holding back traffic in the circle a block or 2 to the North.

Could you rephrase the question Greybeard?

  8. DanielB says:

Yes, as I recall things 19 years ago when I left. There may be some ‘absolutes’ written in this that are overstated, but maybe not. I lived through the “water and oil don’t mix” dilemna for a long time before I gave them up as non-theocratic. I had hoped long enough, and just needed some better direction for my life, realizing many of the “Why? details” later. At times in life I have made a change that seems right, without all of the reasons, and later scriptural reasons are seen in support. No regrets in leaving, though in ways the toughest decision of my life. The ORG, as you refer to I think, is better or worse on different organizational levels. “Procedure” from the society isn’t followed well, largely, so at times if it were things wouldn’t be quite as bad. But major underlying flaws are still present. It’s a lot to examine, and I am glad I need mainly to study a mirror.

I believe that there are some brothers among those in the lead of the ORG, at least I hope so, and that they will exit when they must. I have met and known a few very close to “mother”, and some of this was good. Love Samuel Friend, my KMS Instr.

I was an Elder for 24 years and when I resigned I realized gradually that the Governing Body makes the snow balls and the Elders have to thrown them.

  10. DanielB says:

I had been an elder through two periods of being on the hot seat before them. You probably agree that the hot seat means that one, usually, is pounding on you and the others are too aprehensive to come to your aid; just going along with the politics.

It wasn’t what I imagined it would be, from any obvious direction of the Society. But I know that there must be “organizational direction” for some cases from the ORG “above”.

Some of the snowballs are packed hard for a punch. Once I was sitting in one of the meetings (over me) with the other 10, when the one carrying on in his eloquence pointed right at me demanding I explain the badness going through my mind at that moment. I was glad to answer, “I was just praying for you, on your behalf”. Later a friend in the congregation helped me know that others were viewing me from outward appearances. That rang true.

The more and more I read the scriptures that record the “warnings” from Jesus himself to his followers, I believe he was talking about the WTBTS. This organization reminds me of the Pharisees and Scribes.

  12. Alden says:

In Italian “Governing Body” is translated “Corpo Direttivo” which means “directing” body. The word “governing” is totally inappropriate because no man can govern the faith of another, although the WTS, in practice, does just that.

This would have to be done as loving counsel & in accordance with Matthew 18 v 15-17:

    Presumptuousness
A./ Why has the example of Philippians 3 v 13 not been followed as instructed at 1Corinthians 11 v 1
    Is this a poor example to flock 1Peter 5 v 3 & 4

    ans …………………………………………………

B./ As the Scripture at Matthew 24 v 45 has a a singular nominative masculine has now been interpreted as being eight in number, does this mean the [accusative] singularity of God in John 1 v 1 is to be abandoned?
Kingdom Interlinear p146 & 417 and chart inside back cover
As said it is a singular male, ok could maybe be addressed individually to perhaps 14400, 14400 + an unnumbered group, but an exclusive 8.
Seems a fore-gleam to introduce the Trinity.

  16. Lois Poppelreiter says:

Greybeard it is my opinion that your words were as strong as they needed to be. When Jesus spoke to the Pharisees or the money changers in His Fathers’ house he did not mince words but displayed anger at the unacceptable teaching and actions. The unfortunate of it all is those “up there” (tongue in cheek) have made god of themselves so “they are right in whatever they do or say”. Matt. 23: 1-39 & Rev. 22:18-19 will settle the matter and there will be an accounting. Your words give encouragement to those who need to see truth through eyes not tainted and blinded by WT twisting of the Word of God.
