Sister Disappointed has graciously agreed to start keeping up our weblinks on the sidebar. There are so many great sources online, for so many things. How do we find them, all and share them with our friends? Which ones are going to benefit us more than others? We want to try and focus on informative, newsworthy, and positive places online; then we can recommend these and share them with all our visitors.
We have all heard a bad report or negative comment about the Watchtower society and discounted it. “It’s only one person’s opinion — He’s an angry apostate — He’s returned to his own vomit — etc. etc. etc.”
Even Solomon under inspiration said: Also, do not give your heart to all the words that people may speak, that you may not hear your servant calling down evil upon you. 22 For your own heart well knows even many times that you, even you, have called down evil upon others. (Ecclesiastes 7:21-22)
I have received a very kind invitation from JJ to contribute to this wonderful website, and it occurred to me that I would be remiss if I were to neglect making some kind of introduction. I then realised that introductions are considerably difficult, if not impossible, when done so anonymously. Like many who frequent this website, and like JJ himself, I am a free-thinking “inactive” publisher. I live in fear of being unmasked as somebody who disagrees with a significant percentage of the teachings of the organization I grew up in and once loved.
