I want to know the truth! Don’t you?  I want to test it!  What does the truth have to fear?  Jehovah’s Witness’s are indoctrinated to believe that they can only review spiritual things through the “slave” or “governing body” as written in the Watchtower and Awake.  To go elsewhere is to seek help from apostates.  To look online at web sites that have to do with JW’s is seeking apostate information.  It wasn’t until I was disfellowshipped (I’m no longer DFed) and read Ray Franz books that I realized this was untrue. “Crisis of Conscience”, by Ray Franz and “In Search of Christian Freedom” by Ray Franz.  I also read ,”Captive to a Concept”, by Don Cameron.  These books can be found at Amazon.com.  If anyone wants to know the truth about the Jehovah Witness organization all one needs to do is get those books and read them. They will enlighten you and change your view forever. Why should the “truth” fear such information? Every Jehovah’s Witness should read these books.  Ray Franz is a former Governing Body member.  He wrote most of the Aid To Bible Understanding book.  He is very loving and the farthest thing from an apostate as the JW’s would have you believe. 1 John 4:8 “There is no fear in love, but perfect love throws fear outside, because fear exercises a restraint. Indeed, he that is under fear has not been made perfect in love.”

  1. Andrew says:

Yes the truth has nothing to fear, but the Governing Body has a lot to fear.

The GB are self apointed and have taken the seat of the greater Moses Jesus Christ, they rule with fear “or else” this is why many stay, and many go.

I’m sure you know but for those who might not, he “was” very loving. He passed away a 2-3 months ago.

He was a courageous brother who was wrongly disfellowshipped because he dared to disagree with the Governing Body. He didn’t seek the limelight or prominence. How ironic that Witnesses are banned from reading his so-called “apostate” book, when it’s likely that he is ruling with Christ in heaven now…

I do not think it is likely that the 144,000 have been called yet as I do not think 1914 was when Jesus established his Kingdom. MHO

    • Amos says:

      I partly agree with greybeard.
My belief is that Christ received full kingdom power upon his return to heaven 33AD, but that His direct ruling on the earth will not be until His return, I don’t believe that this has yet occured, but that it is very imminent now.
By properly understanding the Olivet discourse, & several of Paul’s epistles, Jesus parousia, is future.
A common misconception is that the word parousia is rendered presence, instead of coming. The entire sentence structure is critical for this word. This is what renders what it’s meaning is, as it can be either. This is also where exegesis comes in again.
Coupled with this, is the fact that parts of this prophecy had their fulfillment in the first century, & we know for a fact that His return was not then.

I dont think the 144,000 have been resurrected yet either. At present I feel that they will all be taken to be with Christ together at one time, at the end of the great tribulation but before armageddon.

Bro Amos, I completly agree with what you said:

“My belief is that Christ received full kingdom power upon his return to heaven 33AD, but that His direct ruling on the earth will not be until His return,”

I believe Psalms 110:1,2 started to be fulfilled in 33AD and Jesus continues to sit at the Fathers right hand until the end of the millinium. Paul shows us this at 1 Cor 15:25-28. The last “enemy” to be put under his feet or placed as a stool for his feet is death. Also note Rev. 20:14, we see here at the end of the 1000 yrs death and hades are cast into the lake of fire.

    Greetings everybody !
I am glad that the truth regarding Christ enthroning and His beginning to rule(exercising the received authority) in Heavens took place short time before “pentecosta” 33AD is understood and testified by more Christians ..

also, because the “judgement” at the Temple didn’t took place in the spring of 1918 , the resurrection of the asleep ones of the “body of Christ” will take place in the near future , at the same time with the “changing” of those remained on earth of this group… 1 Thess 4:15-17.

Regarding the above my comment I have to support it with
      1 Corinthians 15
      51. Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
      52. in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

  7. W.H. Conley says:

Can you imagine a jury instructed only to hear one side of the matter and then to render a decision that is fair and based on the truth? No court would allow such a thing. To get informed and hearing both sides pro & against is the only way to make a wise decision.

By telling JW’s not to read “apostate” literature it just adds fuel to the fire of curiosity. Proverbs 18:13 says thst a fool responds to a matter that he hasn’t heard. The truth can withstand the test of time & scrutiny. Only if you have something to hide will you object to scrutiny.

    Hi W.H Conley
My name is Ruth. Glad to see you here.
Yesterday two pioneers came to my door. They mentioned to me that apostates were dreadful people really bad. “Hate Jehovah God they said. “I replied. “Does that mean l would be one as l myself walking away from a religion and was not happy with there teachings. Oh no! was there answer. Only people who walk away from God are apostates.
So my next question was. Do you know if the people in your religion who walked away would be bad, or could they be people who hate what they see being taught? They could not even contemplate such a answer.

Im so sad they do not see what is happening. So glad you are here.
    Ruth
